Frequently asked questions

Got Questions? We Have Answers

What languages are the tours offered in?
All of our tours are offered in English. If you are participating in one of our many “You Drive” tours, the driver must be able to speak and understand English. If you do not feel like you can effectively communicate with your guide please look at one of our many “Ride Along” tour options.
Can we switch drivers while out on tour?
Any person over 18 with a valid drivers license can drive while out on tour. There are plenty of opportunities for you to change drivers while out on adventure. If you have a specific time you would like to change drivers just let your guide know and they will be happy to accommodate you.
Can I use my own vehicle on your tour?
Absolutely, we offer guiding services for just this reason. We can guide a single vehicle or groups up to 30 vehicles. You are not limited to the “normal” trails if you are using our guide services. We offer all Jeep Badge of Honor trails as well as many others in the area. We are happy to tailor your trip however you would like.
What happens if it is raining?
Moab becomes a magical place during our infrequent rain showers. Our tours still operate, and you will get to see amazing waterfalls that form during a storm. Water and wind have played a major role in shaping Moab's breathtaking landscapes. We recommend bringing your rain jacket or poncho and enjoying the show. However, should you prefer not to take your adventure in the rain, please book your adventure early in your Moab visit so you have the opportunity to rebook when the skies clear, usually the very next day. Our guides also love recommending other things to do in Moab. They are the best local guides; tap their knowledge for great ideas of all the things to do while you are here.
Do we drive the 4x4?
If you choose one of our “You Drive” options, you will be driving one of the best vehicles in Moab.  We have a new fleet of Kawasaki KRX 1000 machines that we have customized for the Moab trails.  If you choose one of our Jeep “You Drive” options, you will be in the best built Jeeps in Moab.  We use only the best products on our highly customized Wrangler Rubicons:  37 inch tires, 3.5 inch Metalcloak lifts, WARN winches, Factor 55 recovery gear, and Rockslide engineering power steps. All after-market parts are modified and maintained by our expert staff, with over 40 years of Moab experience.

If you are 18 or over with a parent or guardian in the UTV you can drive. To drive a UTV without a parent in the vehicle you must be 21 or older and have full coverage insurance.  You must be over 21 to drive one of the Jeeps.
What is your cancellation policy?
Outlaw Adventures offers a 72 hour cancellation policy. We understand things do come up and plans change. If you need to cancel before 72 hours, just follow the link in your confirmation email or give us a call. If you are within the 72 hour window please give us a call to rebook or to receive a gift card for the balance of your trip minus the booking fee. Rebooking a trip will be treated as a new booking and will be subject to the same cancellation policy.
